During the process of putting together my music magazine, I gained a lot of skill from Photoshop CS6, which at first I found difficult to use. After playing around of the program for a while I learnt different tools and techniques such as text alignment and space reduction, blending options such as stroke and drop shadow, text wrapping, image manipulations, text box sizing, using Photoshop rulers, colour picking, quick selection tool, feathering edges, varying the opacity, layers. On the contents page I was messing around with the blending and paint bucket option and managed to give the 'This Week' title a camo effect, which I actually really liked. This was completely by mistake but it turned out that I liked it so I kept it.
I kept the double page spread minimal, because I think that would appeal to my target audience.
