Front Cover
This is the front
cover for my college magazine, used for marks in my preliminary task which go
towards my coursework grade. The fonts I have chosen work well with the theme
of the magazine, for an audience of teens. I think the title would attract
people to buying the magazine because it is cool and funky. I've used too many
colours on the front cover, so this is something I need to think about when
doing my final task. Just sticking to a
maximum of 3 colours so there isn't too much going on, it almost puts the buyer
off the magazine. I also feel like the writing around the models are too
scattered, magazines usually have more going on but stick to simple colours,
when coming to design my music magazine, this is something I will
think about. This is the first time I've used photo shop properly, other than
in the induction task we were set, so when I get round to doing the final task,
my skills for photo shop will have developed with practise so the magazine will
be better and more attractive.
