Fonts

This is my mood board for possible fonts to be use on my final piece. All the fonts are quite quirky and not very basic. They all stand out and are eye catching, which is what a magazine needs. It is important that you can read the masthead, but it makes things a bit more interesting if the fonts are a bit peculiar. My favourites out of all of them are probably, 'Maybe, maybe not' and 'Blake'. These are the 2 fonts that are plain but still quirky and easy to read. This is why I like them. It is important as a magazine editor to get the fonts right for the magazine, as this is something you have to carry out throughout all issues. It would be a bad idea to put a gothic font in an indie magazine, because it just doesn't suit the genre and doesn't fit in with the headlines and featured articles. I think that these fonts will work well with my chosen target audience and genre and I am going to use all of them to decide which one looks best. I am also going to play around with colour to see which colour schemes I like and which ones don't look as good.
